Line of Events
The mismatched cousins reunite for a trip to Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a different turn when the tension between the odd couple is re-examined in the context of their family history. When Benji and David visit his grandmother’s house in Poland, it’s the place where Jesse Eisenberg’s ancestors settled in the diaspora. Benji Kaplan: We’re constantly moving, keeping it light, keeping it agile. David Kaplan: Yeah Benji Kaplan: The conductor will come, take our tickets, we’ll say we’re going to the bathroom.
David Kaplan: That’s so stupid
Benji Kaplan: He gets in the back of the train and starts walking toward the front, looking for the slats. David Kaplan: Excuse me, are we late? Benji Kaplan: Yeah, when he gets to the front, the train will be at the station and we’ll be free. The tickets probably cost about twelve dollars. Benji Kaplan: That’s the principle of the thing.

True Pain is a wonderful film
12 Etudes, Op. 25, No. 3 in F major Written by Frederic Chopin Performed by Tzvi Erez. Jessie Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin give some of the best performances of their careers. I truly believe Culkin will be an Oscar favorite this year.
He did both of those jobs as well
Eisenberg also wrote the screenplay for this film and directed it. This film has a consistently intriguing, emotional, and funny script. The film deals with some tough topics and deals with them all tastefully. This is a film that clearly meant something to everyone who made it, and I believe you can see that in the final product.
